WHAT REMAINS
A six-month private journal for people who are done performing.
Somewhere between the car door closing in the driveway and the front door opening in the house, there's a version of you that no one in that house has ever met.
The one who knows exactly how much of your day was real and how much was performance. The one who hears the silence in the car and doesn't turn on the radio because you don't want to cover it up anymore.
This journal is for that version of you.
Six months. Monday through Friday.
Ten to fifteen minutes a day.
One question at the bottom of every page:
What remains when you stop pretending?
Not what you posted. Not what you told your coworkers over coffee. Not what your title says about you. What actually remains — when the meeting ends, the kids go to bed, the house goes quiet, and the only person in the room is the one you spent all day being too busy to look at.
This is not a self-help book. There is no guru. There is no framework. There is no 30-day transformation and no "you've got this" on page 47. It is 193 pages of mirror, and the only rule is that you don't lie to it.
You will write about your wins. You will write about your people. You will write about your body and the hours you are giving to things that will not remember your name. You will be asked, once a month, to look at six weeks of evidence you wrote in your own hand and tell yourself the truth about the pattern.
Some days you will skip it. Some days you will write one line. Some days you will write three pages and realize you have not been that honest with yourself in ten years.
Six months from now, when you read the first page you wrote, you will either not recognize that person, or you will, and you'll understand exactly why you bought this.
You do not need to be fixed.
You need to be witnessed. By yourself. On paper. For six months.
We can lie to anyone, but are we lying to ourselves?
That's what this is.
